I'm in grad school right now to become a paralegal. My school has connections with K Street (where all of the lobbyists in DC work) and I hope that after school, I can work in the lobbying industry for what else? Better research, interest in and exposure for those of anyone with chronic illness, no matter the illness. I used to work in a pharmaceutical company that saw chronic disease (especially the rare diseases) as a money losing venture. There needs to be someone with the passion to go out and work with congress to find funding and raise better awareness. I think me and my hard head can do it! Heather Totally!
